Looks great. Is there no pogo pass through?

Edit: In the market to update both top plate and monitor so now wondering if future releases are going back to lemos as standard?

I have purchased mine, hopefully befre the rush so it goes out soon.

no monitor pogo / pass though? Be nice if I could mount my 7" on it without having to use
another mount and cable etc.

This looks like a great design. Thanks for the Arri accessory mounts in good places.

+1 if there is a monitor pass-through version in the future, I'd go for that!

+1 on pogo pass through. A lot of things tend to get attached to the top plate, so removing it anytime you want to direct mount the LCD via pogo is sub optimal.

I've been running the WC top plate, which has connectors for two monitor taps, for about a year and only remove it when I need to direct mount to pogo pins. In a perfect world, I'd want a top plate that had a lid/cover (hinged?) for the top pogo pins as well as two 14 pin taps and the run/stop port.

Wow! Nice indeed!

I would have love a connection to the side pogo with a top pogo passthrough, it would have give us the choice with WC and Reds.

oh the ability to have a cabled EVF and a Redtouch 4.7" or 7" and a top plate in one single accessory...

I can only see one connection. Does this pass through the top connection but we're still able to use the side? We should be able to use two monitors at once right?

yes, this eliminates the Lemo-A adapter for top connector...the side connector remains functional.
LCD connected to top plate Lemo, EVF to side connector at the same time...nothing is changed in that regard.

WC have a pass through version and a version like this without pass through. I guess there is some technical reason hindering a smart pass through WITH conversion to lemo.

It’s pretty simple, you can only have one “Top LCD” monitor at a time. There’s one output on the brain, the plates are just converting that out from Pogo to Lemo.

I would rather have the pogo pass through on top. People who prefer cableless monitors will now require Lemo Adapter B with this top plate, which is fine, but it's not simpler. If this plate is basically a replacement for Lemo Adapter A, then make the plate reach over the media bay and convert that Pogo connection to a Lemo for an additional monitor. Detachable even, so that the EVF connection can remain unaltered. I love modularity, but I want more options, not fewer. Hopefully there will be a v.2.0 and 3.0 on this.

It would also be great if we could get a cage for the dsmc2 -- the more mounting points the better.

Think of this like Lemo Adaptor A, redirected pogos to Lemo. Cannot do both redirect plus pass-through...

I totally understand it can do one or the other, maybe there will be a future alternate version with no Adaptor A build in but Pogo pass through instead. Also is there any way to get Lemo power (2 Pin) out of a top plate? I'm guessing there isn't with DSMC2 cams, Maybe DSMC3 will have power out the body somehow.
