RED DSMC2 Dragon-X 6K Full Kit or Brain Only, Canon EF Mount
Selling either my full kit, or Brain only, whichever sells first. I'd prefer to sell just the Brain to move to Gemini/Monstro as I’m going full anamorphic going forward.

Upgraded from Scarlet-W, August 20th, 2020 (see receipt). The swap was handled by official RED Dealer TV Specialists here in Salt Lake City, UT.
The body is pristine as its had less than 40 hours put on it since the upgrade and coming from RED. From my inspection everything is new about the body except for the Canon EF mount which was swapped from my old Scarlet-W, when the upgrade was performed.
Because of the way the upgrades work, the original Scarlet-W hours transfer, so the total hours on the body are 444.6 as of the time of listing. Essentially “open box” condition except for a small scratch on the removable plate (the Skull logo plate).
It still has the sticker on the RED logo that comes from that factory.

I am a formal commercial director turned occasional documentary director.
The camera has truly only been used less than 10 times since I upgraded it, and has never been used without my supervision except under the care a single time by a RED owner friend of mine who used it for one shoot day for a financial client, BDO in a studio set.
I am planning the purchase the Gemini or Monstro brain after selling this body- if I sell the full kit, I might hold on to the cash and buy something next year when the anamorphic I ordered are released.
Some RED owners on the facebook group know of me personally, and a few have been hired by me or my companies www.deltree.com & www.dearworld.com over the years and I can provide references if needed. This is a special opportunity for someone who is looking for a mint Dragon-X body. The Dragon is the holy grail for some RED owners. I am only selling because I’m moving to shooting primarly anamorphic and I need the taller sensor of the Gemini/Monstro.
