Hey Michael,

How do you use the Beachtek with a Red? I assume just the mini-stereo male out? I'm not finding anything that would suggest 5-pin to mini-stereo is possible...

The line output from the DXA-Alexa is a 5 pin balanced XLR at +4dBu. I am including the cable in the sale. We used this set up consistently and it worked great for us and is certainly the best solution we found: 2 channels, lightweight, no extra battery compartment, well designed controls, etc. Gain settings on the DXA-Alexa were more than adequate to provide good levels to our camera without the use of any internal camera gain which many have discovered to be noisy.
