RED Drive Play Back Issues

I was just doing a test with my red drive and I wanted to check playback. It starts off just fine but about 40 seconds in my whole system locks up camera and all. Has anyone else had this happen? If there is a thread about this I couldn't find it. HELP !

Can you remember getting any dropped frames on that shot? Might the camera have got a bump while shooting?

We did do a whip pan. I didn't notice any drop frames though i didn't look either. the clip doesn't stop at the whip point in the clip though.

I've seen a few posts about the camera locking up, the fix is to power down.

It may be a build 14 bug as Brent mentioned today build 14 is Still considered a beta build.

Yeah i would go with that but I'm on build 13. I had to power off the camera to get out of the lock up. We did it twice since. trying different things.

I just tried with my second drive and there were no problems at all. It looks like i may just have a bad drive. ..... could be the fed-ex guy strikes again

You copied the RSD file to the other file and it plays back OK?
