RED-DRIVE on backorder again?

Hello,

I recently received my camera package, but no drives. Are the drives on backorder again? I just got hired for my first red one job, but just have 2x 8gb cards, so I'm swapping like crazy

According to my rep, they'll be backorder for almost two weeks... bummer, I was about to order two.

And I just ordered two more because I really needed to have two with the camera at all times and two available if the client hasn't been able to offload them before the return the camera... Most clients want to keep the drives a few extra days for some reason.

I can't believe this back-order thing is happening again!

hmmm... not sure how bad it is this time my rep is telling me that they should be getting in some this week. granted they may be still trying to get everyone their first drive, which is what i am waiting for. but if that is the case i just got my camera a couple weeks ago so they are almost to the end of the catch ups and should be close to the extra's.
