red drive not formatting:(

try to format on camera.. takes infinity to format...

mounts on computer no prob.. formated to zero on computer.. still wont format on camera (even though it reads it and goes through to format process)

ive reset the drive...
my other drive works.. so im saying its not cable...

so what gives?
anyone know?

should i just throw two toshiba's in it
(replace the old drives)

I had a feeling re installing the firmware would work.. just didnt have time to check till wrap.

wasnt the drive.. it was the cable... both my drives work swimmingly

they are for sale btw..
