Red drive cable

Looking for a used drive cable for my Red One MX going to a 320GB Red Drive. Is the cable the same as the one going to the EVF?

No!
The drive cable is thicker and shorter, interchanging won't work - trying to (forcefully) do so could damage your gear; so don't even try it!

Hi Mano,

The LCD and EVF cables have no similarity with the drive cable. Do not attempt to use cables/ports even if they seem to be similar. The pin-outs are usually entirely different and can cause extensive damage to the camera.

ok, now I really have to 2nd my own suggestion about reading the user-manual (no offense)...

for capturing the HDMI-Signal you'll need external 3rd party recorders (PRORES) and you'll be limited resolution- and codec-wise (no RAW!).

let's get down to the basic questions here;
what do you want to do or archive here ?
any chance to just borrow or rent a RED drive-cable in the meantime?
