It's not a broken drive. Like many of these drives (and many that have been posted for sale here in the past few months) the firewire 800 port doesn't work, which I clearly state by the way. I've used this drive for 2 years in this condition on many different jobs without any issues. I, like many people, just offload using the USB port.

I'm a little confused at your point in posting in this thread. I haven't hidden anything about the item I'm selling. The drive works and is still very usable. And as far as the price goes, if it's too high it won't sell. But thanks for your concern anyway.
