  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red Drive AC adapter...

Eric,

Looks like I got super lucky. I got one of those "universal ac adapters", and basically it lets me choose whether i want the plug to be + or -. Luckily, I had it on +. Close one!!!

Thanks, I appreciate your help!

I would recommend you superglue and tape that on the right way or risk an assistant finding it loose an plugging it in the wrong way.

By universal do you also mean it will accept 110 to 240Vac and 50/60Hz? See the label. That's ideally what you want, to be able to use it in other countries if necessary too.

Yes, I thought about doing that, I think I may put some electrical tape on it. And a Big Tag on the cord that says.... Don't touch!

On the box, it says "Worldwide Input: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz, adjusting automatically"

And it comes with six adapter plugs with different sizes.

And you can choose the output, DC 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9, 12V.

Was it worth $15? Hmm maybe. Is it idiot proof? Not really..... Hehe.
