Make a reasonable offer on this drive, great condition, worked beautifully on my RED One. My RED One is off to Calif now and this drive is now available for your RED One. Great condition. Also have drive cable for it. Thinking about ebay auction but if someone wants this make me a reasonable offer quick and I'll ship it to you on Monday.

Just in case you didn't know, there is a Red Trade in program for these drives, you get a $450 credit towards a 256 GB SSD, contact your Bomb squad rep. Doesn't include the cable so you might be able to sell that separately.

There's no trade-in offered for 320GB drives.

Do you have inside info on this? There is no designation on the note they give on the 256GB RedMag page in the store that it is only the 640 GB version, so I think both the 320GB and the 640GB versions are acceptable.

I hope so, as I have just returned my Red Drive with R1 #348 this past week for a Stage 3 Epic-X upgrade and am expecting a refund on a 256GB RedMag purchase.

I'm interested in confirming the same. Please some1 post if they have knowledge of the trade-in.

There is absolutely trade in for working drives. The RED DRIVE Trade-In program works as follows: From my rep.

1) You the Customer sends the RED RAID DRIVE(s) to RED’s Headquarters (Lake Forest). RED RAID DRIVE(s) must be functional.

2) For each RED RAID DRIVE sent in, after DRIVE passes product inspection, customer receives a credit of half the retail value of the RED RAID DRIVE ($450) to apply towards 1x REDMAG 1.8” SSD 256GB. Discounted price of 1x REDMAG 1.8” SSD 256GB is $2,750. Customer may receive one credit of $450 per RED DRIVE sent in (one for one).

3) Payment for SSD(s) is collected.

4) Once payment is collected, customer is sent SSD(s) within normal order processing times.

Customer may send in as many RED RAID DRIVEs as they wish and each RED RAID DRIVE discount is applied towards 1x SSD. If the customer takes delivery of the SSD(s) in Washington or California, the customer must pay sales tax on the full retail value of the SSD(s).

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Frazier is right, I had a 320 gig drive and traded it in for credit. Just received our SSD 256 last week.

Thanks. Now hoping for full refund value on R1 #348.

i am interested in this if you could please email me on christian@papermacheboulder.com
Kind regards
christian. what is a reasonable offer. $150

See above, the ITEM has been SOLD. I doubt you can find one for $150 as a good one should go for more than that at this point. Double that maybe would be good IF you can find one anywhere. Supply and demand.
