  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

+1 on shooting the highest resolution/widest FOV your lenses allow - in this case 6K. I've heard the sentiment that it's "crazy" to shoot 6K but unless it causes a problem with your lenses or you desperately need the increased DOF, it would be crazy not to since the image simply looks better, whether you are scaling to 1080 or UHD.
 
depends on lens coverage, but shooting 6K is never "crazy".

Zeiss CP2 cover 6K, except for the 18mm which covers 5.5K

You can shoot at 6K and then plan to make 5.5K crops for adjustments in post.
5.5K is a hair more then double 4K and provides a great 4K finish once down rezed.
