Red is working on this for me...but wanted to reach out seeing if someone may have solved an issue like this already as well.

I have a Red Epic Dragon that has the newest software as of today. Works well without Pro I/O audio module...when I go to record with the Module it goes to error 0x000001e and shuts down.

Just checked and rechecked all the connections, etc and tried 6k, 5k and 4k...none work with Pro I/O.

Removed Pro I/O and in the audio menu took it away...and then all recording works.

Any thoughts on this?

(Leave tomorrow for a huge job I need this for...appreciate it)

I had a similar problem with my Epic MX and the Pro I/O. For me it happened on earlier builds of version 6 firmware, but the most recent build fixed it. Maybe try rolling back to the last build of version 5?
