Hi everyone,
I am due to get my camera in november (fingers crossed for early) but i was wondering what the deal with the red days was. how much does it cost? what do you do? how long is it? just wondering so i can start planning for it. any information would be great thanks.

Yes i looked into your workshop when you first posted it a few months back. I don't know if i am eligible or not though. how do you prove that you are a Camera Assistant? I am an independent and not a member of any union. was very interested though

the red team will notify you with plenty of time to prepare for RED Day. they'll give you the info when the time is right .

you should try and take a trip out to the RED store for starters. meet the RED team, they're pretty much badasses.

Its free! You will get to see a lot of good stuff.. 4k projected footage and a very bad ass workflow presentation by more than qualified instructors. I stayed at the America Stay hotel (cheap and nice enough) across from RED when I was there in July.

I am terribly sorry. did you just say that it was cheap as free? i am a happy happy man. i mean i crossed my fingers this morning hoping for an early camera and i get an email at 2 saying that i indeed will be getting it early. thank you Red, thank you so very, very much. a single tear is rolling down my cheek as we speak.

It's like the Porsche weekend when you bought a 959 back in the 90's... They'd invite you to Stuttgart to try the car, choose your finition (interior and exterior) and mostly "learn" how to drive it at 250mph on the Porsche private circuit...

Red is in my taste cheaper and as good to pick up chicks tough... :biggrin:
