  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Days in Europe - coming up

....and you should know that Europe is still much bigger market for RED Digital Cinema than are Australia and NZ.

Maybe, but the surf is crap in Europe any way you slice it, mate...

Hey guys I know a couple of Bars in Madrid... and what a girls!

...yourselves.

looking forward to London event - Pinewood sounds good

I'm sure we can lay on some refreshing cold rain for you

Munich would be brilliant too. It's kind of in the middle of Europe as well.
We just would have to keep the Arri guys at bay! :)
"PUT DOWN THIS SCREWDRIVER OR WE'LL GET THAT GUNNER OUT!!!"

RED Owners will certainly have priority on coming to these events, but we will make them open to those interested in what RED is doing. (There are many that work RED in the post production and production world that this will be relevant for)

Looks like London date is now firmed up for Feb 10th. Here is the location:
Will will announce the time schedule soon.

Why not the lion's den?

München is not only Arri City, but great for skiing and has a huge production community, many of them are Redusers. I guess for Italians from Northern Italy, Munich isn't much farer than Rome. Plus you will be closer to Switzerland and Austria. Remember Europeans tend to drive by car.

For me living in the the Teutonian North West London is fine. Europe is pretty small.

Anyway, great idea. I will try to take part.

If you have any plans for Germany: A lot of us and hundreds of international filmmakers will be at the Berlinale. Especially its first weekend on Feb. 14th, when there will be a membership meeting of the German Film Academy.

Jochen

Good point, Jochen.

Very good news, especially if there's room at the London event for non-owners.
