  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

11:55 Peter Jackson's interview is finishing up, teased a little bit about "still waiting on the EPIC"

12:00 Ted doing his thing, introducing a couple of trailers (District 9, knowing) in 4K

12:12 The trailers were played on only a quarter of the screen, due to them being only 2K on the 4K projector. Ted back on the stage showing zone plates on the 4K screen

12:26 WOAH. M-X on a 4K projection is out the wall

12:29 just was one of the first in the world to see the EPIC footage displayed

12:38 And that's the last RED Reel for right now.

12:41 Michael, from Lightiron, is now on stage demonstrating REDCINE-X updates

I gotta keep a close eye on these forums for any future event where they plan to show the Red reel in 4K in the UK. Completely missed the UK Red day, didn't come across the announcement thread until long after it happened.

Anyone who spots one give me a heads up okay?

Sorry. Things were wild, and I probably had to shut the computer during a video and had to close the computer. :laugh:
