Hey All,

A client of mine had a little accident with my Red Cradle yesterday and it's a bit bashed up now. Since I'm upgrading to a action products hotswap pack I said I wouldn't charge full whack for a new one (I was going to sell the cradle when my new one arrived) instead I'll only charge them for the second hand sale price. Does that make sense?

So I was wondering who knows what the ballpark figure is for a Red Cradle second hand, perfect condition? I know it's not gonna be $750!

Cheers all!

Ben

I don't think he is trying to sell his bashed-up cradle. He is charging the person (who bashed the cradle) the price he would have received had he sold it second hand. At least that's what I think Ben was asking.

Curren is correct!

Cradle was snapped and battery mount a little scrapped, still useable but not really very safe, apparently the tripod leg gave in and it hit a wall snapping the metal. Dontcha hate it when that happens!

Sorry about my written drivel and thanks for the help, I'll be charging them $375 which I reckon is a pretty good deal!

Cheers Curren!

Make sense? No, not really. You're a nice guy, that's for sure.

But if you only want to charge him used price instead of actual replacement cost, then I don't know what to suggest for price. Seems most people have bought the cradle as part of the base production pack. I have seen a few cradles for sale at a variety of asking prices. I would think a fair used value based on the new stand-alone value to be about $500.

Sounds like the cradle saved your RED from damage though!

I'm up for buying one by the way.

reckon I need a backup, so just as long as it works....
