It is about time! ;)

It is about time! ;)

Congrats on finally upgrading the website.

Looks nice and very professional!!!

There is only one bug though - the link for Scarlet does not work yet.

Navigation tree

Navigation tree

I made the navigation tree (I don't know if it's called like this in english) for the website, so everybody can see the website structure. (important: this is not an official structure, I made myself, so could be something missing or wrong).

RED-WEBSITE-NAVIGATION-TREE.pdf

Anyway, I think the website structure is good, the only thing, I would make the main menu to open, so people can go directly to the info, without doing 2 or 3 clicks more.

About the new graphic design, I think is a little bit too heavy for me (I said for me, because I prefer minimalist design), but I can also understand that this design follows the RED corporate Identity, so is perfect.

If I can give my advice, I would just try to make more clear the content (homepage) and less important the graphics. Then, I would definitely create a box in home page for reduser (like before) and for the news. News page is really nice, but is a little bit difficult to find. Should be in home (a small box that links you to the page itself)

Shot on RED page and learn page are great.

On the FAQ's page, I would put links on the text, in order to help people to understand and to find better all the info that they are looking for.

Looks great, as usual. Haven't seen anything glaring yet. Very nice update!

Nice website update, appreciate the learning sections and "coming soon" next to the upcoming products... it may be a small thing, but it helps clarify a lot for those who check in every once in a while for status updates...

look forward to pricing & schedule updates, hopefully soon...

BTW, does Red send out email updates on new product releases?

Strongly agree on the point about the gas mask.

I would strongly recommend firing your design company, and getting another overhaul before the scarlet comes out and reaches the masses with it's lower price point. This is way too polarizing.

Thanks for your support Alex. I very much agree with your point about firing the design company. This looks like something selfmade but definitly not professional. I don't tell you how to make your camera's because i'm not an engineer, but i'm a graphic designer, so i permit myself to think out loud.

Gas mask is strange!

Gas mask is strange!

Good point about the gas mask! It does not fit.

When I saw that, I was like huh?

Otherwise, I think the site is good for an update. I am sure more content will come once the Epic and Scarlet are complete.

In the store it says the CF cards are a no go for Scarlet and EPIC, is this an error error with the new site or does it mean that SSD is the only option for the new cameras?

If this question has been answered somewhere else I apologize.

New site is great.

shutting it down before we get too derailed...

about the CF & SSD, yes CF cards will work on Scarlet and Epic, just at reduced REDCODEs of course.
