Is there a way of fixing this? The camera rocks from left to right. There's about 3mm of play.

3mm is a lot... was is working OK and now it's not? I've got the dovetail qrp and had to adjust the dovetail clamp... but I've not had to adjust the quickrelease side. Given how well engineered the part is I'd be surprised if it's not adjustable, but I'd have to take a look to see if I can figure out how (it wasn't immediately obvious how to adjust the dovetail).

It looks like you'd need to remove the plate covering the quick release clamping side and see what's under there (I'm sure there's an adjustment). I'd suggest talking to RED tech support... they can walk you through it (looks quite a bit more complicated than the dovetail clamp). Also... maybe a dumb question but you are locking it all the way down right? Mine has a couple mm of play when it's in the intermediate position (handle straight out... camera captured but not locked), but when I move the handle to the locked position it has zero play.

there was a little silver screw that needed tightening. all good now.
