Anyone else having problems with 252? After installing everything for red cine x and my redrocket, has crashed on me 3 or 4 times. Usually when moving stuff from the browser into a bin, but also just randomly. Also, not getting any video out of SDI-A, which it usually comes out, just out of SDI-B?

Have to start on a transcode job, if its going to be this buggy I'm going to have to go back to 221, if so, would I have to downgrade redline and redrocket firmware?

Unfortunately, I haven't seen a version of RC-X that never crashes on me. Having to re-apply the looks after a crash is very painful. The best thing we can do to improve is to send the log files everytime it crashes. Someday, they will fix all the issues.

Sent logs. Fortunately 252 started working flawlessly while I did some color work. Unfortunately it crashed sometime during the night and now I have to go back reel by reel to see which clips rendered because it does not build the export list in order...

-sorry for the rant.

Rock Solid

Rock Solid

RCX has been rock solid for me since B246. One bug with the browser, but I figured out a a fix (don't use old window layout definition files). I hear a lot of RCX complaints, but most seem to be environmental these days. Works great for me.
