Red Cine does not load

Hi guys,

We've installed RedCine on our machine. version 1.0.4 for MAC.

The problem is - it immediately quits upon loading. We do not even get to see the interface. (Note: RedAlert does not encounter this problem)

Here are the specs:

quad core intel MAC
4 gig of RAM
GE FORCE 7300 GT
MAC OS 10.4.11

We experienced a similar problem...

We renamed the folder that contained the footage (the "mag" folder), then when we went to open RedCine it was trying to access files that it couldn't find. Changing the folder name back to its original, out-of-the-camera-name, fixed the problem and RedCine opened properly and displayed all the footage.

We had a similar problem as well...

You have to install redcine first on an admin account and then drop it into your apps folder for any other users you want to use it on that particular computer. Hope that helps!

We had a similar problem too ...

We removed all RED traces, reinstalled everything, nothing.

then we disconnected the second monitor & it worked...

go figure.
