Red Cine Crashes

Hello

Since about 10 days ago every time I open red cine the application does not get past the boot page.


I checked my plist and cannot find a file there to delete to reset. I have deleted the App and re-downloaded and put in my app's folder. And the problem is still the same. All of the other red app's work including the new red cine X

Has any one else had this issue. Can anyone else confirm if they have a red cine file under their plist Boot Disk-> Library -> preferences

When most apple apps crash you can delete this file and it can prove to be an easy fix for crashing apps. I would like to confirm that other users have the plist file or if thats where my problem is. I might have to do an archive install unless i am missing something simple here.

It crashes for me when I try and export a TIFF still. Otherwise all is well.

I am having the same problem, I am quite sure that my Mac is ok, these are the first
crashes I have had in 5 years.
I am running Snowlep updated and it seems that the latest update moves some of
the permissions (this shows up as a problem in disk utility and apparently apple are fixing it.)
Perhaps Redcine doesn't work with Snowlep is there any one out there using Redcine
with S/L and not having problems.

I also have snowleopard and downloaded redcine and "checked it out" last week and it was very unstable.

i've had horrific problems with redcine and red rushes only since upgrading to snow leopard. in fact, four minutes ago i ordered a new hard drive on which i plan to install Leopard only for transcoding and editing RED footage

Hi,
I think I have solved that problem.
I un-installed Redcine and installed Redcine_x Beta and so far it works O.K
Quite simple, dont know why I didnt try it before, it seems that we sometimes look for
the most complex option first.
