The RED WEAPON Woven CF 6K BRAIN enables the user to capture motion and stills in 6K 2.4:1 at up to 100 frames per second (fps), or 6K FF 17:9 at 75 fps, with the cutting-edge RED DRAGON® sensor, optimized for WEAPON®. Manufactured with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber, the WEAPON Woven CF delivers a new level of intuitive control and ergonomic design. WEAPON retains the best aspects from RED EPIC® and SCARLET® while adding numerous performance enhancements, such as on-board Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHR/HD recording and limited 3D LUT support—all in a smaller BRAIN®, completely redesigned for modular performance. WEAPON CF offers the only upgrade path to the 8K RED DRAGON sensor.

Just one of the major improvements with WEAPON is the integration of the new DSMC2® intelligent OLPF system, making it easier than ever to optimize footage for your shooting environment by quickly swapping out the optical low pass filter.

NOTE: The WEAPON BRAIN itself does not have a DC IN power port. A port expander or power module is required to power the camera. To construct a working configuration for any BRAIN, RED recommends an expander, battery, lens mount, display, and media. Contact your AbelCine salesperson for details and availability.
