RED CF cards with DSLR?

Will the Red 8GB CF cards work in a DSLR also? Is it just a matter of reformatting it before you use it in each device?

It's a standard CF, so it should be no problem.

Sure, if your dslr takes these cards, only the number of remaining frames left
might stop at 999 when you could in fact still take 2000 !
It depends the size of the file you create with your dslr.

That's where my Soderberg cards have been spending their time. They work great and download very very fast! I've rediscovered the joys of shooting Raw (which is applicable to Red as well!).

I use them in my Mark III and they work great.. i can usually get just over 280 shots on a card.
