Very interesting. And impressive. It's scaled RGB from the full sensor. So while not RAW, it still could provide plenty of latitude if we're talking 12bits~16bits per channel.
One thing that I think some people will be shocked to learn though is that the RGB 1080p mode will have essentially the same amount of data to record as 3K RAW. We can only speculate on how RED will deal with the RGB compression and what the mode will end up offering in post.
