Red Camera Underwater

[Peter Matthes]

Does anyone know if the Red One camera has ever been deployed underwater in a waterproof housing of some kind?

If so, is there any footage online?

Thanks in advance.

Judging by the number of posts in the Under Water Bubble Blowin' Users Group I'd guess there's quite a lot of Reds out there operating below the surface - check out the thread here:

Do a search for "underwater" in the "Shot on Red" forum and you should find plenty of videos.

Peter:

We have almost 20 REDONE underwater housings out in the field. We manufacture and rent. About $8600 to purchase - rent is $550/day $1900 week.
