Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
I just worked on a couple where the Avid was PC based. I took the R3D files home and used REDrushes to convert all the clips to 1080p DNxHD 175x files. I cropped the sides for one project giving 1920x1080 video and on the other I kept the original aspect ratio and ended up with 1920x960 video letter boxed on to a 1920x1080 frame. There wasn't a need to go back to a higher resolution on either project so I never messed with anything else after that.
