Red cam courses in london??

I'd like to become a Red Cam technician, just knowing how to use and set the camera up. Are there any short course I can take part in?? No more than a week. I can't find anything anywhere on the internet! HELP?

If there were courses available in London, I'm sure they would be immensely popular - I'd probably do the tech and post ones, just to be current.

However, the website only lists courses in LA - did I miss something?

Just to let you know, Patric's right, we are indeed running a two-day RED course on 11/12th June, with more to follow. Our partners VET in Hoxton will be organising a post-production day the following week.

Details should be up on the website tomorrow. The modular six-day course (incredibly popular!) should be back in September.

Yeah UK is pretty remote (or not that far for a quick flight over the great pond). I am looking into getting a REDucation type of thing on or Tribal Reservation cause the kids are interested. So Im just gonna have to import some RED user/operators/owners to the reservation.

We run a full day's introductory session on a Saturday here at our studios in Notting Hill Gate in Central London every 4 weeks or so as demand builds up. We've had our cameras well over a year now and handle all the post side as well so you can literally follow the media from the camera through to the grading projector.

We keep the numbers small so everyone can get hands on the cameras. You have to put up with me talking for a quite a long time on the history and theory first though! Everyone who has been on it has been very happy. And the cost is refundable against a rental from us.
