Can I assume that all Red, Epic and Scarlet cameras are using the latest build software? Or could there be a practical reason to use older build software such as working with certain pieces of equipment or software?

Even if it isnt, you can still bring the footage into the new RCX and get the benefits of RG3 RC3. Raw is cool isnt it?

I know. I just remember Jim mentioning that a new build with the new colour science would be available for the Epic/Scarlet and the Red One. Just curious if the red one version will happen. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
