Its between the sensor glass sheild and the sensor.. its either directly on top of the sensor or the thin piece of protecting glass above it... not the first peice of glass.. because i scrubbed the front glass clean...

even the arctic doesnt do much for me (see below.. this is an after swipe).. I attached an image below to give you guys a comparison between the specks of dust that are on the front element and the single speck behind.. i shot these at f2.8 (both above and below) with my canon mp-e 65 to show the difference in focal depth.
