  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Bright display?

Yes was thinking this too.. seems like recently most operators show up with a 703 anyhow and just use the touch display for settings.. having said that I would still be interested
 
I'm guessing nothing really new at CineGear for Red? :'(
 
Like to have one where the touch is more precise and a lot more like an iPhone. Be nice if the Menu GUI was smoother and less clunky too (perhaps more animated like a mac). HDR and SDR in one would also be nice.

Was waiting for this also, but heard it was back in the
Drawing board. With my Monstro upgrade happening at this moment decided to get the 7”dsmc2 which I’worked with recently and liked.’since it seems we are going all aluminium from now on, and Red let us Carbon weapons keep the CF, i thought getting the 7” CF would be a nice way to “finish” this dsmc2 form factor with a cool unified look. Would love for the media bay to also be CF for a complete carbon look...
 
I asked about this at Cinegear and was told it's still in the works. They had a version that was ok but they want to make it better so, it's still in development. No time table was known.

I'd love to see a 5" - 7" high bright screen at some point. The original 5" screen still does a pretty solid job in daylight.
