Brick battery came back today missing one of the three screws for the V-Mount plate. Hardware stores in my neighborhood don't carry it.

What is the size of that screw? Any suggestions on getting replacement screws other than McMaster-Carr?

Thank you in advance.

can you take one off and bring it to the store. i have the red v mount belt clip mount and it has really small 4-40 standard screws i think. 4 being diameter, 40 being pitch. I get all my screws including that one from ace. if you are looking for normal size med-small screws, metric is common for those.

I think the screw is actually a bolt with a nut on the back side inside the battery. You will have to open battery, locate the nut and put new bolt through existing nut, tighten, put some lock tite on it and button up the battery. Be careful- batteries can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing....

Thanks for the replies. The screw is actually size M4 x .70.

Nate, I was able to fasten the V-Mount back on the battery with the three screws without opening the entire unit. Can anyone else confirm this?
Don't want to disassemble the battery if I don't have to.

It is possible the nut did not drop off on the back side. A while back I switched all my v connectors with switronic ones which are metal and more importantly, seem to lock better on red v mount plate and don't pop off if I have back of battery braced against my body. I don't exactly recall how the nuts sit but I found some cases I could just do it from outside but in some cases I had to open the battery to work from the inside.
