Hey guys,

I had a RED Brick stop charging recently. The flashing light indicator (side of battery) is down to one flashing red light, and the capacity when connected to a camera is 0%. But when I place the battery to charge, the charger sees it as fully charged, and will not charge the battery. I've already checked, the charger is in fine working condition.

I'm not well versed with batts or charging cycles, but this one is only about 2-3 years old and used normally. Any suggestions as to how to salvage this brick, or is it time to purchase a new one?

Thanks.

Many times if a red brick gets dropped a small soldering point breaks inside where you can use the battery but can not charge the battery. Could be a reason. I would contact John ritter at ritterbattery.com as he can repair anything that could be wrong with your battery.
