  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED BRICK RE-CELL?

I have a couple that could use re-cells. Any chance this company bought the Ritter equipment? I had good luck with them and it was sad to see him pass away.

I contacted them on another topic. Electronics.
Hopefully, someone gets back to me on that.
A few of my BRICKs are not showing charge light but they work.

Yeah, i mean you can get good dirt cheap bricks second hand for $150-200 shipped to your door. I've purchased 3 recently second hand and haven't had any complaints. I've got a couple of REDVOLTS that are dead and would like to potentially re-cell, but I think that would be a big cost there for a little blob of energy. I wonder how much a re-cell job would cost normally? If it costs more than $200 ... it comes down to the argument: should I do it for the environment and not fix something if it is a job that can be done, even though the cost it a little high; or, should I just buy new and recycle the brick (or sell it to the re-celling company for $50 so they can make a small profit).

OK, just clicked the link: $198.00 well, I guess it is ok. Keeping the brick alive and serviced is just good karma.

The two that died were purchased 9 years ago.
Worked them hard and would like to extend them a little longer.
Still waiting on a reply from them.
Kinda scares me no one has returned my email.
