RED BRAND wireless video

Maybe I'm crazy, or maybe there has just been too many announcements to keep up or remember. But did RED mention some sort of module that will send wireless video at some point soon?

I've sold off my paralinx and am renting Teradeks when needed but I'm itching to own my own set up again.. was gonna pull the trigger on a ghost eye... would rather wait for the new dope system specially if red has one in the works.......

I could be wrong, but I don't believe RED is making their own wireless module. However, they did "rehouse" a Paralinx system for the Xenomorphs. Is that what you are thinking of?

No, You're right. A few NAB's ago they showed a wireless transmitter module. Never made it out of the nest it seems.

There was at one point something called a Meizler module which never saw the light of day. It had wireless FIZ control, proxy recording, and wireless video. Later Red released their standalone wireless FIZ system, and with the release of the Weapon we got proxy recording. The wireless video part of the whole thing was never built by Red.

Offhollywood has a teradek rehoused module for the OMOD system, true wireless no cables.

With the Ranger module that Jarred has he was saying that it's designed such that you can insert the wireless transmitter of your choice - including the larger teradek system. Everything is then enclosed within the module.

There is a Teradek 2000 inside of the Bayhem.... Works great
