  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Bottom Plate attachment screw size

Jess those are standard 1/4-20 (quarter inch x 20 threads per inch) very common in the us and the same as on almost every camera/camcorder

BTW The large one on the bottom is 3/8-16 also very common in US and the other standard size for larger cameras.

I knew the ones on the bottom were 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. So you are understanding me correctly and the ones on the side(not the bottom) that are used to attach the RED piece that the shoulder mount goes into are 1/4-20 as well? I am talking about the ones that have bolts in them in my picture not the open holes on the bottom.

Jess, the ones on the side with the bolts in them are 1/4-20 - same as the ones on the bottom.

Yes, the sides are 1/4-20 also.

Those bolts with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 thread.
Which kind of thread used on them?
Is it NC (National Coarse Thread)?

Yes, they are both national coarse. (NF-National fine would be 1/4-28 and 3/8-24)

if your planning on using custom bolts for those side holes.. be careful. many of people have tried to do the same and went too long and ended up screwing right into the fans :)
