  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello,

For sale is a 2.0 Bottom Fan Upgrade for Scarlet.

It has the grey grille and Scarlet coin. This was installed once, ran, then taken out. I sold the camera and the fan did not go with it so that is the only reason.

This unit is brand new! Perfect for someone who only got the top fan. The lower fan pushed a lot more air through and was a welcome addition while I tried it out.

All hardware included.

Forgive my ignorance, but what benefit would one see with just the bottom upgrade? I'm only seeing write-ups for both of them together.

Can you even buy them separate?
 
Hi Brandon, Yeah you can buy separately. Many chose to buy the top fan only, so this would be a great deal for some on the fence of the new bottom.

The new bottom fan pushes more air through, so yes it is a benefit if one does not have the top. But in my experience they work well as a pair. Still, a great deal for a brand new out of the box fan for either setup you choose. I only installed once, then the camera was sold so I took it out.

Thanks for the reply. If you don't mind me annoying you for one more question, do you know if the Top Fan works with the WC easy top x? I see on Red.com that there is a new top plate for the fans, but I don't know if it's necessary or just another fancy thing to put on your red.
