Joking aside, it would be nice if RED would produce a "bible" that gave some best-practices for shooting, maintaining, and especially the post production workflows.

I'm betting an independent author would be the best one to do that. Just like in the case of software, sometimes authors can do that better and more efficiently than the company that produces the product. Someone who can write and has also worked with the camera extensively and knows all the ins and outs as well as the quirks and little known tricks and shortcuts.

If I was writing a book for myself, I would indeed call it RED for Dummies. If I was writing it for a more sophisticated crowd, I'd go with something else that is more...um...sophisticated. :biggrin:
