RED Batteries in AB Mount?

This would seem to be an obvious request. But has RED ever considered selling their batteries in AB Mount?

I've been wondering that from day one. So many of us are already on that system.

Looks to me like they bought an existing battery setup and rejiggered it a little
to support the camera. I would say cost to market was cheaper.

I have an v mount to AB adapter that works great so I can use either one.
