The festival is coming up very quick and it's going to be great to see all of the films at Sundance once again. I know that RED always has a big presence at the festival because actually a ton of Sundance films are shot on RED.

But the big question, is RED going to have a house on main this year or are there going to be any presentations by the company at the festival. I know they did a presentation last year, but I missed it because of short notice. Just wondering what their plan might be for the festival.

i'll be there..so I'll post any news..let me know if you hear also..

I'll be there for a Slamdance screening of "Somewhere in the Valley" on the 19th. It's a short film directed by David Greenspan, shot on my Epic-X. It'd be fun if there were a "Red Central" spot to say hello (and maybe check out Dragon?) in town!

okay..im here and my survey unofficial of cameras being used so far at Sundance 2014

2 35mm (one arri and one panavision)
3 arri alexa
3 super 16mm
1 sony f3
1 red epic

to be updated..

Since Ted Schilowitz left RED, I don't think anyone was hired to try and take his place. Seems RED is just allowing the camera and its users to be the ambassadors going forward.

That's just my take on things.

"The Bravest, The Boldest" - short film in the official selection.

Epic-X and Canon K35 lenses.
