...then knock at the door three times, pause, then twice again. A little slot will suddenly open revealing a set of bright red eyes which will stare at you, waiting. Say "film is dead"... then you'll be let in.

If you don't want to say "film is dead" that's cool, it really isn't necessary, just say "Sony is dead" instead. You just won't get any tiramisu.

I kid... have fun everyone. Wish I could come.

If you can get a cheap flight, it will be worth it. Who knows, a winning raffle ticket and it could really make the trip worth while.

raffle? What's the prize?

At last year's event, $5 worth of tickets got me a $500 gift certificate from Doug Underdahl at Long Valley Equipment ... (oh, and an Element Technica hat my wife declared 'sexy' ...).

[Jamon Lewis]

That may be worth it :sifone:

Damm, I was all set to go, and then a job came up for this week. I'll have to wait for the pics and posts. I'm ready to buy the lenses though!

[Oyvind Stokkan]

Was the new specs on the cameras supposed to be released last night? Or just showing off prototypes?

[Iouri Philippe Paillé]

Where are the photos of the new scarlet/epic prototypes? I thought they would be all over the place and I can't seem to find them anywhere... have I missed a thread?
I felt like they would maybe have a tiny bit of information released at this party, maybe rough ETA of the scarlet s35, which is still officially due in summer... Do we have any more info at all? For the people that were there, please share everything!!!

That first picture looks like a contraption inspired by my Oakley X Metal XX...

I am hoping that by the time they release these babies the design has radically changed and we can all wear our Scarlets and Epics like sunglasses.....
