If I wasn't a couple thousand miles away I would love to see that...was looking at Aluminium business cards on 'Printing Direct', man they look supersweet! Jim I would expect nothing less.

So here's how I see the conversation with my wife going...

"Hey babe, I want to go to Vegas to meet Scarlet"

"No...It's a new Red model...seriously"

"I can bring back pics of me with Scarlet"

"Crap...none of that came out right, did it"

If I were you I would not emphasise the word 'Model' too much either and stay away from the word Red...Dude I don't condone lying but it might be safer if you quote Capt. Scott and say "I'm just going outside and I may be some time"!

I believe that there will be a 2K Christie projector showing the latest reel...

Actually it will be a Barco HD20 FLM DLP projected onto a very sweet 26ft screen. Same projector we used last year at the MGM for the FCPUG SuperMeet. If you saw the Red footage Ted played last year, you know how good it's going to look this year.

We are teaming up with RedUser and Steve Sherrick this year at the Rio, and sharing the A/V, the hotel food and the love.

In case no one gets back to you, the answer is no you do not have to have a NAB pass, but you can still get one as there are a bunch of mighty fine toys on the show floor to look at.

RED will be displaying prototypes of Scarlet and EPIC, along with the RED Professional lenses at the Reduser party at the Rio Hotel on Wed. April 22nd. There will be many RED vendors there displaying in the Amazon Ballroom all day long... maybe into the evening. I suspect that there will also be some special guests.

We will also bring a lens projector with us to give you a first hand look at the performance of the RED Pro Primes and Pro 18-85mm zoom.

I believe that there will be a 2K Christie projector showing the latest reel... so make sure you stop by. This is where the action will be.

I was planning to attend the Redsuser event but my schedule just changed. Any other places at NAB where we can see the Red lenses and Epic prototypes on the 21st?

Or just the lenses? It would be great to have access to the projector as well. How about getting a suite at one of the hotels and schedule appointments?

Cool, Rio's rooftop VOODOO lounge is a must to go place in Vegas...

One of my first NAB's, we stayed at the RIO. I agree. Voodoo Lounge was very cool.
