  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ah, but it's an issue of time... nothing against Jason, but if I can get away I'll fly. NAB is just a bad week for me this year. I'm out of town a bunch over the next few months and if I can clear it with the wife, I'll try to make it for the 22nd.
 
Now this is a cool news, now I fill much better about NAB, I'm always at the Palm so RIO is pretty dam close :)

Cool, Rio's rooftop VOODOO lounge is a must to go place in Vegas, I've been there w/ a friend along Mark Ouwerkerk and other Christie folks back to the NAB 2002, and it was Wed, I'll never forget that sunset over the mountains, best place to say NAB goodbye!! Already booked both plane and hotel, New York New York, here we go!!!!

Getting my partners to see the RED will be what I need to get rid of all this tape devices we've got here!
 
I don't have the $$ to go, but I would be willing to grill for free if someone wanted to fly me out! :)

(If anyone has a Big Green Egg grill, I could really make something special!)

I tried to ask this on the other forum but haven't had a response. Is the RED party free or does it require a NAB pass or what?

Cause I have no NAB pass, but would love to go down to Vegas for a day or so as it's only a few hour drive away. :)

Same question. Im not registered for NAB, but will come in for the RED event. I've RSVP'd on the redusernab.info site. Is that all I need to do?

Urgh... Too bad I dropped all plans of going to NAB when I heard you (and others) had canceled any plans on attending - and now this... way too late for me unfortunately :-( I hope someone brings a camera and takes lots of pictures for those of us that can't be with you. I'll be there in spirit.
 
Damn I would really love to join you guys, but I don't know any close friends, crew buds or otherwise that are going. I wouldn't know the first place to go. (no way, huh, an "introverted" filmmaker, sounds like crazy talk)

Jarred, you wouldn't happen to own a matte, camo green Porsche would you? Anyway, whoever owns it...it is SICK. Never seen an intentional paint job, on a late model whip like that before.
