  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED at IBC 2011?

I was wondering this too. Couldn't make NAB and would be nice to see everything at IBC including "TATOO" in 4K. Nothing on the exhibitors list. Anyone from RED confirm please?
 
I may be mistaken, but Arri is missing from the list, too, and we know for a fact they'll be there for sure to present the Alexa Studio. So, I guess, the list is not 100% accurate yet. IBC is in 5 months, plenty of time for updates...
 
Sorry to bring this up again, but will RED be at IBC and will they have working Scarlet Fixed prototypes?

I'm thinking about buying a Scarlet Interchangible / Scarlet Fixed / Epic-S. The last one will probably be out of my budget, and considering that it's a good deal of money, it would be nice to try these out before they are on sale. Considering that very little retail stores will probably sell this, and if the cameras are good, I would like to be on a order-list as soon as possible, but it would be nice to see some images from Scarlet on IBC 2011...

Anyone from RED care to chime in?
 
I already had this question asked, and no really answers came back. We can presume that they'll be here. It'd be creazy not to ! :sifone:
 
Wow friday and saturday RED on the bigscreen. Now that is pretty exciting news to me! I look forward of meeting a lot of REDusers at IBC.
 
Yes,

We will have a very small booth at IBC, the real show at IBC for RED will be the big theater presentations on one of the best and biggest screens in the world at the RAI in Amsterdam. RED has a long history of showing wonderful eye opening things in 4k on that screen, this year should be no exception - I'll be bringing the latest EPIC reel and some other goodies to show off. One theater presentation we will be doing in tandem with Assimilate, to show some deep dive workflow in an early morning session before the EPIC reel screening, the other session is just us (and maybe a few surprises depending on what kind of mood I'm in :-) We will be casual and fun in the usual RED "non-traditional" presentation style - so come join us there.

Also, Right before IBC this year we will be hosting our first overseas REDucation in Pinewood in the UK, from Sept 5-7th - then it's off to Amsterdam for the fun there! Look forward to seeing you all!

Question: will there be one or a couple Scarlet prototypes there for people to play with? To get a feel?
Because as I mentioned earlier, the proposed release date for Scarlet is getting closer, and for us people in Europe, it's not as easy to get your hands on one of these things before plunking down the cash.
