Does RED Armor carry over if you upgrade from SCARLET-X to EPIC-X and/or to Dragon?

Yes for the body and from the time of RED ARMOUR was purchased.

Dragon sensor is 90 days but not sure about EPIC sensor.

I just hope there is not going to be a limited time offer for the trade in. And if so how long to u have?

I get that the new sensor is not covered. What about going from SCARLET-X to EPIC-X?

Even my REP didn't know this when I spoke with him today. Very frustrating. Guess I'll put in for my place in line and hope for the best. Kind of pisses me off that RED doesn't do a better job of giving us this kind of info up front.

With all this talk about the sensors 90 day warranty, is this a common problem?

How many here has had a sensor fail on them?

No comment on RED sensors, but I had one crack in my Leica S2.

It's very uncommon - in fact never heard of a Red sensor failure, unlike say the original Red Rocket. The point is that a longer warranty doesn't really hurt Red to offer for reliable products, but for the unlucky customer, even the rare failure can end up being extremely costly in money, but also time and jobs lost, not to mention confidence in their camera tools.
