Has anyone else tried this yet. I've upgraded to 10.4 and the new workflow installer. I'm seeing the IPP2 options in system preferences but nothing has changed within FCP. Shouldn't I be seeing something new in the RAW settings ?

Jarred posted this on his Facebook:

Version 12 of our Apple Workflow installer now available! Finally Support for IPP2 inside FCPx .
- New Image Processing Pipeline (IPP2):
– Decoupled creative and technical controls
– Improved demosaicing algorithm
– Enhanced HDR output
– Standardized color space and gamma
– More robust color transforms
Added: New ISO calibration for HELIUM sensors.

i don't see anything new in the raw settings. The color space comes up correctly as Red Wide Gamma, but not the Gamma setting which still defaults to BT1886 and you have to change it to Log 3G10. I did install the new V12 workflow. It does come up with the ability to take the log image to IPP2 with a camera LUT setting for the clip. Then, on the timeline, you can add a Custom LUT as an effect. But it does not seem to default to any of this from what was programmed in camera (Epic-W). The good news is that it is about 10 times faster taking R3D and exporting ProRes 4444 than RedCine X. I tried making a new clip after installing FCP X 10.4 and the V12 Red workflow for FCP in both 8k and 6k (since there was a message saying beyond 6k was not supported) but I did not see any difference between them. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Need Help, just updated to the new Apple plugin and when previously FCPX would interpret my Helium footage with IPP2 correctly, now it just defaults to Redwide Gamut and BT 1886. How do I make it to look like the IPP2 look I have both on camera and on Redcine X? My workaround is to change the color to RGB 2020 and Gamma to either HDR or Rec 709 for each clip, which is time consuming and really its a bit hit or miss.
