Hi guys

i just wanted to start converting footage from a shoot yesterday on my macbook pro when i discovered the following problem, the footage on the red drive is all fine and can be played back without issues on the camera.

however when i connect the red drive to my mac, which is running snow leopard, quicktimeX and final cut pro 3. I cant open any of the files.

the quicktime proxys only come show a green screen and in Red Alert Version 20.1.6 the footage is all pixelated and scrambled, or simply just pitch black.

has anyone had the same issues before ?

thanks for any help.

have u updated your quicktime codec from red? sometimes it can just be the order of which you installed everything, and you might have to play around with it. also does it play in fcp l&t? have you tried redcine? try trashing your red codec install, and installing it fresh if u can.
