  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red--->AE--->FCP - what's the best process?

Hi - I'm a RED newbie, and just finished a music vid on Red. Shot in 2K, gonna head to AE to work on each shot, then edit in FCP. If I export from RedCine to a high res QT (apple ProRes or Uncompressed) and import to AE, and then export again from that in Uncompressed for FCP editing, will I lose the ability to get a nice color correct after my edit? I definitely need to do a color correct, and was assuming I'd get that in after the final edit...

What's the best way to go about this process?

Thanks, all the info on these boards has been really helpful!
