Nice lookin' rig you got there!

Does this mean the Side Flags will be available for my Red matte box soon?

Im kinda hoping the REDvolts start raining down on us soon, but until then I like the Idea of going "Rod-less" at least at the back end of the camera.

The Backpack battery plate really sold the whole thing to me, plus it means no RED>EPIC power adapter cable

I love this! But...if I wanted to use the backup battery plate as well as that backpack cheeseplate for mounting accessories, what do I do?

The only thing I can see if a backpack cheese plate and then use the DSMC top mount with rods to mount the older Quickplate/Universal mount with a battery on that. OR I guess it could be REDvolts with Backpack cheeseplate. The only thing is,
RED bricks are great to have too and AC's will like it.

Wow, amazing look!!!

maybe I miss... counterbalance?

Any chance of getting a RED Battery Plate with the smaller lemo without the backpack quickplate? Basically the same $175 plate with the Epic connector instead of the RED One connector?

Second that. I know I won't need the backpack setup initially, but the battery plate would come in handy.

A battery plate that goes on the back that connects to the camera directly without power cables would be pretty sweet though.

O.K.. one more :)

Looks Amazing but the power in will be right by your shoulder, you might be constantly hitting the power cable when doing handheld work. There could me a higher chance of power failure during the shoot.

still no love on a lightweight Quick Release system for the EPIC LCD, rats! nice work on creating lightweight and functional power supply options, though.

it is all truly beautiful stuff....if this is just the tip, as Jim says, then I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the rest of the iceberg....

Don't need the rouge if you have a side handle battery also.

Nobody has said boo about this. I think its great. Hot swap battery system.
One of RED ONE's biggest weaknesses due to boot times.

The only thing missing from the hand held rig is the rod system and follow focus AFAIC.

What are these accessories like when additional modules are attached? Is the connection between the modules and the Epic body going to be strong enough? I wouldn't want to put much weight though the REDmote connection

There will be a module adapter that goes on the back of the brain and bolts on via m4's the way the backpack does. The module adapter has additional connection points.

How do you charge the RedMote in this configuration?
