The red store description of the Epic Backpack is a bit confusing

Comes with BACKPACK CHEESEPLATE attachment that allows a limitless amount of mounting options (such as the BACKPACK QUICKPLATE).

Isn't the Backpack Cheeseplate just one backpack-compatible accessory (and not needed to mount the Backpack Quickplate on the Backpack).

scarlet is also part of the modular DSMC system.

some of the pieces in this setup might be slightly different for scarlet, (like plates or something) i'm not sure, but you can basically use the exact same setup

Yea, but if you look at the things RED just posted on the store, I don't think any of them are Scarlet compatible. I could be wrong.

I would also assume, and I hope im right, that everything posted here today will also be compatible with the Epic-S. I don't see any problems on why it wouldn't unless I am missing something.

just the BACKPACK camera plate will be different for Scarlet, the rest of the BACKPACK system pieces will be compatible. Some of the compatibility listings in the store are still being plugged in right now by the web team.

all the bits are sold separate, minus the Starter BACKPACK that comes with the Cheeseplate.
