The 18-50 got some lukewarm feedback, but the 17-50 has gotten raves. It's interesting that the 50-150 does not have the "Pro" label, yet many here quite like it.

That's because they are all raving about the OPTICS... and I have to agree
but mechanically, they were hit or miss and often a bit janky

not quite as pro as PRO LINE - but as they all pointed out, tough lens to beat for the $... super crisp and sharp glass - s0/so mechanics... although some people got relatively good ones, others had breathing and ramping issues

I have the 18-50 and the 50-150 lens , and they're both great! My question in should I use a screw fit lens protector on the end to protect the glass, and if so which ones?
